Ascension's September Benevolence:  Stand with Africa

Ascension’s Benevolence (a deliberate act of kindness!)
for September supports Stand with Africa, an ongoing emphasis of the ELCA World Hunger Appeal. Donations given through the ELCA are directed to Lutheran World Relief, the Lutheran World Federation, and ELCA companion churches in Africa.

        As Pastor Esther recently reminded us, the needs are great: the banishment of hunger,

the conquest of disease, and the building of peace.

Benevolence total for August was: $390 ~ for Habitat for Humanity!
