- Confirmation
for Seventh and Eighth grade students
is a time of preparation for baptized Christians to publicly profess
that they do indeed believe these things promised for them in
their baptism.
- Junior
Luther League is off to an absolutely AWESOME start.
Junior Luther League is open to youth in grades seven and eight
and enjoys a variety of activities, including retreats, day and
overnight outings and a week-long summer tour to Northern California
or the San Diego area.
- Senior
Luther League is open to youth in grades 9 through
12, it meets for Bible study in a member's home at 7 p.m. every
Monday night. Participants enjoy wide-ranging activities that
include beach and mountain retreats, summer water ski trips, summer
tours to points throughout the United States, house building projects
in Mexico, Hanging of the Green, and overnight outings and events.
Fund raisers include the annual spaghetti dinner and talent show,
the Easter breakfast, trash pick-up at Conejo Valley Days and
the annual rummage sale.
- Sunday
School for Seventh and Eighth Grades meets each Sunday
in the Bethlehem Room. The hour will begin with music and singing
followed by a lectionary-based study and discussion. During the
year, we will have several opportunities to participate as workshop
leaders for the younger children.
- Sunday
School for Ninth through Twelfth Grades meets in the
Sonrise Room for an hour of topical studies and discussions. Also,
several opportunities will be available during the year to participate
as workshop leaders for the younger children.
